CMYK and Pantone Proofing of Layouts
- Save your layout as PDF/X-4 and set the output intent to your desired proof standard (e.g., GRACoL2013_CRPC6).
- Assign the same profile to your layout for consistent color management.
- Size your layout to match your final dimensions; scaling layouts is not recommended.
- Download and install required color profiles from our website if not available on your system.
- Ensure all spot colors and channels are named appropriately (e.g., Pantone 300 C).

- Use maximum quality JPEGs or flattened TIFFs.
- Ensure resolution is 200–300 dpi at the desired proofing size.
- Convert images to your desired CMYK profile (e.g., GRACoL2013_CRPC6) before uploading.
- Calibrate your monitor to a low luminance setting (80–90 cd/m²) with a 5000K white point for accurate viewing.
